Lotte Aquarium

There's Coex Aquarium and then, there's Lotte Aquarium; located in the Lotte World Theme Park. So why would we want to visit another aquarium? Read on and you'll eventually find out why...
But first, a little walk through the Lotte World 'Park'... to get to our tickets.
If you just wanted to visit the aquarium, boy oh boy, what a hassle and a walk to get to the aquarium... Maybe we got off at the wrong station \ line. But, what a walk it was. Both indoors and outdoors.
ANYway, and finally, we made it to the Aquarium. This looks kinda familiar...

What hey! A robo fish! Really, this robotic fish swims amongst the real live ones. If it wasn't for the flashy and transparent lights, you wouldn't know... from the first glance. :)
More familiar fishies...
Seals diving around...
And finally, we come to the masterpiece... a two storey high viewing deck. But that's not all...
What's this?
Beluga saying hi to Little One! And boy, were all the kids excited as the belugas are very playful... not to mention entertaining. Which is it's second highlight.
Moving on... another of Little One's favourite creature's hiding in plain sight.
His Pacific Octopus...

And a ray swimming by to say hello!
Lotte isn't all about just viewing from outside. How about a 3 meter crawling tunnel?
With 'corals' made of plastic? Interesting eh?

Hmmm... Food here in the Aquarium?

Yup! A cafe right there at the 'viewing deck'. Allowing you to eat, relax and watch the fish swim by... making this it's 3rd highlight.

It's certainly more kid friendly and like Birmingham Aquarium, very children friendly; think informal (Lotte) vs Formal (Coex).
This Eagle Ray was Very friendly with the diver. Or maybe hungry? :)

It's finally time to head back to our apartment and along this exit, we decided to get this local delicacy for Little One:
And yes, very yummy.
The End.
