It helps when you have an Ultra Wide Angle (UWA) lens and this allows shots that were otherwise impossible to obtain due to close confine spaces or lack of it thereoff!

So Shooting the Petronas Twin Towers also pose a challenge to any photographer... but with an UWA... :)

But 1st, a little reminder to please keep the fountain pool clean. Otherwise, this poor bloke wouldn't have to go round and round clean it!

According to the EXIF data, the below image was shoot @ 11mm. So who says you gotta go far to get the towers in view? He he...

This was more of the reflection on the pool. But obviously one is more interested in the towers right?
Didn't realised that there was a d.e.a.d leaf in my photo. Otherwise picture perfect! Ah well...

Secret Garden @ 1U

Secret Garden. Now what can that mean? :)
Well, it's only accessible by 1 and I mean ONE lift only in the whole of 1U! Getting there is basically looking for the Rotiboy shop in LG and then opposite it is a bunch of lifts. Press UR and you're there but bear in mind that it's only open on WEEKENDS ONLY; 1000-1800H.
And no, PH is also closed.

So what is it? If you love flowers, flowers and MORE flowers, this is the place for you. Call it a botanist paradise if you will.

Halloween 2010

Yours truly attended the Halloween party held @ Bora Asmara... It's more of like a friend gathering thingy than and out and out party.
Now what can this concoction be? Am I drinking some blood and what IS that whitish thingy? Ewwwwwww... but yummy and sweet! And I ain't telling! :P

Bora Asmara

Bora Asmara. A Balinese theme styled restaurant placed amidst bungalows. A nice quaint little place with a very interesting seating arrangement; like below.

Privacy is something that is easily gotten when you eat here. Not like your usual makan places where at times, having a decent conversation means close to shouting... and yours truly is one that likes to have a certain constant voice level.


One can have a choice of either seating outside, i.e. smoking section (with ceiling fans) or if you don't feel like sweating it out, there are the covered options which entails air-conditioned dining.
Water everywhere... and lighted candles all over the place.
Having the K7 made my shooting life so much easier. More so when one was there until close to midnight and not many lights were still switched on. Lovely, yes?

Food wise, it's ok. You're there more for the ambience than anything else. So how does one get there then? If you have a Garmin Satnav and you're using MalFree, key in Bora Asmara.
General location wise, it's near the Mofaz building opposite Mutiara Damansara.

Else, as they say, Google is your best friend!

Gowns a choosing

The time has come to choose ma cherie's gowns, be it wedding or dinner for our photoshoots. Basically, we're in a room with... masses of gowns. The sheer number is breathtaking, easily somewhere around 500 maybe?

The evening gowns that we have narrowed down from the massive number... 14!
And after 90mins for the evening gown, came the wedding gown. Yeah, i'm tired too sweetie...
So that's it. Much as I would like to post pictures of the gowns, one gotta respect privacy of what had transpired last tuesday. Until I get the photo's and the go ahead, you'll just have to be patient! he he
