Of Playground and some Food Items

Playgrounds. What can I say ... we found one as we were wandering around, near the neighbourhood where our accommodation was located.

Very well cleaned. Almost squeaky clean... and makes you wonder whether someone actually goes around to clean them? :)

And not far off from the above playground, was also a neighbourhood park...

Ooooooh... weight lifting! And yes, there were residents who could weight lift these!

And wide expanse enough for Little One to run around a few rounds and lose that hyper energy of his.

And there's a shrine as well.

Little One was begging for eggs. And then, we came across this: Already cooked, almost hard boiled eggs. Whatdya know... saves the trouble too! And yes, it's really been cooked when we gave it to him.

 I decided to try their instant noodles... Needless to say, I'll stick to their sandwiches and buns!

Playground @ Taman Tasik Perdana (Perdana Lake Gardens)

Some time ago, Moi and family decided to visit this massive outdoor playground...

From suspension bridges...

To massive slides...

And interlink passage ways...

Good ol' fashion swings...

See Saw's...

Obstacle course...

Take your pick. There's also some simple equipment for the older generation to work it out... while little ones run about ... until their tank runs out! :P

One thing to note though. There are two playgrounds. One being more prominent (closer to the main entrance) vs the other (further off, reclusive) and there is a simple reason for that. If one looks at the below picture, you would spot the massive tress and these trees have pigeons using it as their home. And that means tons of bird poo... splattered over one of the small slides.

While it does provide a welcome shade, it also meant fungus and mold have taken residence at the slides too. Pity.

@ the Library

Not so long ago, when we had to pay a visit to Rawang, we decided to also pay a visit to the library there.

Looks very unassuming form the outside.But...

Needless to say, and hopefully, Little One will take Mummy and Daddy's love of books. :)

 

And what's not complete if not for a visit to the playground, which was located next to on it on it's grounds.

Of Playgrounds, Jkids and Haenim Slide

A few days after we came back from Geneva, Little One was needing new clothes. So we ended up in Curve and lo-behold! Outside Borders was this toddler playground. Which reminded him and us a little of the time gone by not so long ago... in what seemed like a Galaxy so far away.

Needless to say, he had a ball of time while he was there.

Some time later, we decided to take him to JKids @ Tropicana as Mummy dearest needed some time off to cut her hair. Definitely toddler and child friendly as just about everywhere is padded in case of accidental falls, slides, etc.

Balls, balls and more balls!!!

However, he got sick with Flu some few days after. So, we're exactly sure children his age should go in as one can't tell what bugs may lie. But that's the risks one takes...

But still nothing beats his favourite... Swings. So we went a little playground hunting around our neighbourhood.

As you can see, the seat isn't meant for his age.

This has more safety for him, but still... big.

And so, we decided that unfortunately, not all of the time, he'll get to go out and have fun on slides and swing as in Malaysia, it's sooooo dependant on the:
a) weather (rain, thunderstorms or intense heat)
b) haze
c) dirtiness
d) state of equipment

So therefore, we decided to get him his own slide!

Which later evolve to have a cozy corner...

The slide was bought online from Rakuten, a South Korean brand called Haenim. It's DIY aka fix it yourself, but construction is really sturdy even though held up by plastic screws. Materials are hard and looks it can handle for many years what my son will slide or throw down it... :D
