Cambodia # 12 - Bayon

Next up, Bayon. This temple is considered by far the most well preserved temple. What it lacks in size, it makes up in faces... as you will see shortly...

Each out 'tower' has 4 faces, facing each direction.
Lots of faces all aligned!
Whilst in the Elephant Terrance you see small blocks of stones and carved to fit in, this one is of a larger piece. So while not as intricate, still as detailed!
