Beauty and the Beast

Right, this was one event I've been waiting for ever since I found out that they would be coming to Malaysia!

This took a lot of waiting. And hoping and praying! Reason? Not much traffic!!!

Had to try 4 times, and prayed to God fervently in the hopes of getting it right! Again, more traffic coming towards vs heading away! Hence, more headlights than tail lights. On the hind side, I think it's a bit over exposed. Ah well...

Had a few stares from passersby. Why this idiot was pointing the camera at them! Guess they must be thinking that they were going to get caught for speeding! :)
For the record, Malaysian's are famous for speeding, and you'll have traffic policemen hidding somewhere, and about 2 weeks after, you'll get a love letter from them; OR if you're on an expressway, you'll have a roadblock somewhere after the camera and you'll get pull over...

Nightfall in Putrajaya (# 1 of 2)

While waiting for my dearly beloved to arrive at Malaysia's Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT), I decided to mess around in our Putrajaya (Malaysia's Federal Administrative Capital). As it's filled with interesting building designs' and bridges', so I decided to camp myself at one spot, waited for dusk/nightfall and lights to come on...

Pictures were taken using Pentax K100D with Tamron 28-75/f2.8 on 30second's...

This was taken around dusk, circa 1945H or so... was swatting mozzies and flies away. And I think the patrons that were sitting nearby in a foodcourt must be wondering what this bloke was trying to do...

Same shot, same angle; but waaaaay past 2000H...

This was an experimentation of mine. I increase my Exposure to +0.7 (i think), and I got this effect! Very surreal, and what a contrast of this building compared to the apartments/condo's to the extreme left!

Putrajaya is littered with beautiful designed bridges. Ones that are certainly different from what anybody would be accustome too...

Really... seriously!!! Heck, I have no idea WHY either... just maybe to post something up so that the many countless ppl would stop bugging me to post stuff / piccies that I have taken...
