King's Cross / St Pancras, Wind Turbines, Fox & Roman @ York

Now, it's time to leave London and head north. But in order to do so, you either drove, flew or took the train. We elected to take the train...
And here we are at King's Cross station. It's really nice... ample space and loads of food easily within reach.
Little One: Look what I found Daddy!
Unfortunately, taking the train is not without some 'headache's. How about finding out your ride got cancelled due to an accident? Yup, that's what happened to us. And not just us, but multiple other rides heading north were also affected too.

The solution? Take ANY train heading north that will stop at your destination! And as long as the seat isn't 'taken', go ahead... oh well!

After letting the crowd disperse itself through the available trains, we finally boarded one headed for Aberdeen... at least, it'll stop at York; which is our next destination.
And along the way, lookie here... wind turbines!
This captivated me with the mixture of blue, green and the clouds.
Along with the various contrails done by the various flights...
And finally, we arrived... York.
It's got a real 'historical' feel to this station. One look at those old steel beams and you can guess why... along with that platform bridge.
We meet up with a friend of mine here in York and had our dinner in Fox & Roman's.

Finally, pie! :)
Veggie Burger (made of falafel)...
The filling in my pie.
It's autumn and guess who loves this season? :P
Little One with his Halloween lollypop!
The End.

Harry Potter Shop @ Platform 9 3/4, History of Natural Museum.

So where are we off to today???
Woohooo! The Harry Potter shop. This will have to suffice until Little One is introduced to JK Rowling's wizarding world...
Missus with her Potter T-Shirt

Likewise, yours as well.

And where can you find this Platform 9 and 3/4? London's King's Cross station. And look for Platform Gates Entrances 9 and 10...
On another day, we had also visited the Natural History Museum.
And like any other days, we have our lunch out in the sun...
Say hello to .. the giant skeleton of a Blue Whale.
Next to an aquarium, this was another location that Little One enjoyed himself a fair bit. So what's this then? Sailfish.
And a coral.
Standing below skeleton.

Meet NHS's T-Rex....
And it's eggs.
NHS has quite an extensive allocation for dinosaurs. So if you're a fan, pay them a visit. It's free too...

Whilst on our flight on Emirates, Little One ended up watching a documentary on Pangolins. And needless to say, it was very entertaining to him. So, to meet one close up...
Obviously, this would be one of his highlights of the day...

The NHS getting ready to host a public skating ring...

End of the day shot.
The End.

Gyeongbokgung Palace, National Palace Museum of Korea & Going Home

Just before heading home, we visited this site: Gyeongbokgung Palace. Unfortunately, while it looks nice and sunny, it isn't! It...
