London Bridge, The Shard, Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace, Harrods, NFL @ London 2018

Before I start off today's set of visited locations, here's the goodies that we'll be bringing back home...

And yes, Little One enjoyed that massive Chocolate biscuit...

The forecast was for rainy and gloomy weather; all day long. Well, not much we can do except to prepare for it as best as we can... First stop: London Bridge. And in the distance... Tower Bridge.

The long row of trees ... makes for a very nice perspective shot.

Buckingham Palace

Unfortunately, light showers were in the order of the day... and so, we had to cut short the visit.

So we left and eventually, made our way to... yup, Harrods.

And it's huge... that whole building across the street is Harrods!

Well, we got hungry and left Harrods. In our attempt to look for a more peaceful and serene location for lunch, we stumbled across this small park... unfortunately, it's marked as private property...

And hideyholes?

Well, Little One is hungry...

And eventually would find ourselves at Hyde Park. Or rather, some part of it...

And it's huge.

And have Little One and Missus enjoying the fallen maple leaves of Autumn.

Heading back, we would find out that about 80,000 people would be at Wembley for the NFL game.

Baker Street, Sherlock Museum, Brass Rail @ Selfridges

This is our usual subway station that we take, which is about 7 mins walk from the hotel.

 Where are we off to? If you're a fan of literary fiction, the clue is there...

 Elementary, my dear Watson!

 It's funny how real life follows fiction, when in all actuality, 221B really doesn't exist at all. But... here it is.

 Family groupie for one of our many subway exchanges ...

 So where are we? Well, stopping at the above station, we wanted to pay a visit to the Marble Arch...

 Eventually, it was lunchtime, and so, in hunting for food, we ended up in Selfridges Food Hall, specifically at the Brass Rail

Missus looking very at home in Selfridges Brass Rail restaurant along with the Christmas Decorations...

Moi decided to have their signature salt beef sandwich.

 Look at all that meat! Yummy!

 My missus lunch - tuna melt.

 If my boy could have this... :P

A Long Awaited Holiday...

It's been quiet for a simple reason - preparing for this Long Awaited Holiday. So where are we off to?

 But first, chilling out at the departure Gate Lounge...

 And finally, here we are ... seated in our seats, in the belly of an Airbus A380.

 And where are we? Dubai...

 With it's massive passenger lifts that take you from one floor to another.

 Needless to say, where there is an aquarium, Little One will be enthralled and we'll have to spend some time there... to the amusement of the sales staff.

 And that's our connecting flight - another Airbus A380.

 Just after landing, we quickly dump our bags, freshen up, and headed back out ... for the below...

 Missus having an absolute blast discussing about Yarns ...

 How can we not have a pit stop at this booth???

 Ooooooh... even more yarns.

 Looking at all them machines...

 This booth was interesting: the items are made up off metal lines, bended to conform to become artwork of animals or plants that one could use either as a garden decoration or otherwise.

 If Little One could have that giant lobster, it would have followed us home ... :P

 So where were we? It's called the Knitting & Stitching Show... Britain's largest craft show!

 While the building of Wembley International Hotel reminded me of some old government building, the room or rather our room was spacious; one thing we would eventually learn to appreciate very much later!!!

 And missus excited too with the pumpkins...

 Next day, it was off to London Designer Outlet and let Little One have some play time.

 He certainly enjoyed the various obstacle course made available for the kids.

 For lunch, that was had at Frankie & Benny's... but before that, like his mummy, Little One loves autumn as well...

 Missus was very delighted with her choice...

 As was mine...

 Yup, unfortunately, we had to do that... for memories sake.
