Perth's Scitech

Along with scheduling for AQWA for little one, this was also another site that was early pencilled in for a 'must' visit.

SciTech @ City West Station.
The plaque commemorating it's opening.
Well, this was a pleasant surprise and one that we weren't sure Little One would like. But we decided to have a quick peek inside.
He was of course a little scared at times... Obviously, wasn't meant for his age group...
Anybody want to control this T-Rex? There are levers/joysticks (if you will) that you use to manipulate it's movement of his hands, legs, mouth and tail. Kinda cool, actually.
Looky at all those eggs!
I'm sniffing a tree here... :)
Mummy showing just how tall the T-Rex leg is compared...

Along with Dinosaur Animal replica's, there's also these little 'pieces'...

Can you spot why these 2 are smiling so much? :)
SciTech is a Science and Technology playground, if you will. It's a place for little ones to learn and explore science and technology in a fun method. Needless to say, Little One spent a lot time engrossed in some activities and others, if he didn't fancy it, he ignored them...
This water exhibit was really interesting.
Used in conjunction with touch panels, it's a cause and effect based on your actions. Actions done via the 'drawing' or disruption to the water cycle and how it can cause drought, floods, etc.
This was one of the activities that he loved and I ended up getting a nice workout. He would take the ball and I would have to wind it up to the top of that tower for it to roll it's way down.
This was another activity that I spent a huge amount of time with...

And after a while, he got a friend to play with... :)

While the above exhibits/playsets were more intuned for the older kids, the below, they are more toddler friendly...

And you can guess which one...! :)

Land Ahoy!

The End.
