Sydney - Australian Museum

So here we are, at a Museum. Funny how I keep visiting other places museums, and not those in my own backyard. But then again, that's what we all do anyway! :)

A replication of a scene that should be very familiar in the olden days, but not today, when you have all those IT and Electronic gadgets.

Home Sweet Home indeed.
Now this is really cool. Me pedal, and the bloke next to me pedals too... But actually, it's to show that homo sapiens haven't really changed that much over the millennia...
Elephant. Giraffe.
Something from Night of the Museum, eh?
Sperm whale...
Turtle.
And how to make your own diamond. Really. Now, where can I find all that pressure and ...
Gold anyone?
This was interesting. While, it's not gemstones, but interesting rock formations that are so colourful...
More colourful stuff. Why can't our Malaysian Museum be this entertaining? :P
Hedwig, whatcha doing here? The Darkside has lost and your master ... He's fine. Heck, he's even got kids...
During the same time when we were there, they had an exhibition. And this exhibition was basically about 2 sisters, who had a love for drawing... butterflies. And capture onto ink or pencil, the various butterflies that they had ever come across.
Imagine drawing these back in the 1800's...
Butterflies are everywhere! :)

The End.

Fantastic picture of a flying turtle on the wall. Children usually like fantasy, but this particular monster by Max Ernst may prove too scary, http://EN.WahooArt.com/A55A04/w.nsf/OPRA/BRUE-6WHKQP . But there are other more suitable pictures for children in western art that can be browsed at wahooart.com, from where the images can be ordered as canvas prints and sent anywhere in the world.

Playground @ Taman Tasik Perdana (Perdana Lake Gardens)

Some time ago, Moi and family decided to visit this massive outdoor playground... From suspension bridges... To massive slides....
