Oh... My... Gawd!

Now ... what can yours truly be up to???

For the unknown, this was my civil marriage registration. Yes, yours truly is no longer a bachelor!!! Legally that is... Until my church wedding... he he...

Usually in my catholic district, we have somebody doing this together with the church wedding. But unfortunately as Mr EK John has retired, so yours truly had to visit the Registration Dept in PJ. Surprisingly, not that painful at all! Just make sure that when you hand in your forms/particulars, do it in the afternoon. And also make sure which date but it's gotta be tied in to a Tuesday/Wednesday as these are the only 2 days in a week they allow.

And as for the real deal, as only a certain amount of couples are allowed to have their registration, going early wouldn't really hurt.

And a close up of the happy couple; i.e. yours truly and his wife...

Oh gosh. I'm married! :)

A BIG Thank You to the following people who made it to this event:
My Parents, My Brother, Mel, Uncle Patrick & Aunty Maureen and cousin Julie.

AND if you spotted something interesting on this page, 25th Sept 2010 is the main date.

Bus Stop in Geneve...

A typical bus stop in Geneva. A vending machine and the stop.
The name of the stop and the buses that go through it and it's destinations.
One of the coolest things about Geneva's Public Transport, is the schedule! And also it's time's! Just look how comprehensive it is!
Now, if ONLY Malaysia ever became like this... *sigh*
One can day dream right? :)

Au Revoir Geneve!

Some final shots... as I bid Geneve goodbye...

Obviously, one needs to take a photo of the Alps right? :)
Even this bird decided to bid me farewell!

Au Revoir!

Cruise on the river Rhein...

River Rhein. A river that border / splits Germany and Switzerland... So scenes from my open top boat cruise. Most of these photo's are shot from my newly acquired 55-300mm zoom lens; and mostly shot at ranges between 200-300mm as the boat was usually in the middle of the river.

One can only imagine the view...
AS stated, Germany!
And as the river is wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide, this is one sport you can do!
*sigh* Really cool to have a house on this river... peaceful. Serene. Quiet... Boring??? :)
I wonder whether these houses cost as much as those in Zurich and Geneva?

And the below boat is something similiar to what I got on...

Guess some people are jealous with Geneva's fountain?

I am sailing... I am sailiiiiiiiiiiiing...
Enough boats to make you jealous?

And finally, I reached Konstanz. A border town in Germany/Swiss by the Rhein.
I forgot what this is for... Anybody wanna assist? It's a revolving statue...
How do you keep track #2...
THAT's it! This concludes my journeys' in Switzerland. Most importantly as well, a big thank you to Mrs Catherine S S Browne for taking me to really far out places from Geneva! And planning my trips as well!!! Merci Beaucop!

Stein Am Rhein

A lot of people wondered what I was doing here... or rather what is sooooo famous about it! Well, I'll let my photo's explain it all... but 1st, my cutomary shot of the train station! :)

OK. This is a deviation... but does this figure on the manhole looks familiar?

Figured it out yet on what's soooo famous?

Frescoes of wall paintings! Almost every house has it.

And you can still find this old constrcuted house/mansion?

By George! It's St George!!! :)

And yes, you have a St George museum...
These mighty barrels store... wine.
Huge isn't it?

This shows the generation of folks that have lived in this house...
And next, I am going on a boat cruise!
OK. I lied. Stein Am Rhein isn't my last one. The River Rhein cruise IS! Rhein is a river that borders Swiss and Germany. So you have one side German, other side Swiss! And my boat cruise takes me in a zig zag fashion from one side to the other side. Cool eh?

Shark Filled Post!

Little One has been nothing short of bewitched over Sharks. And for 2017, his headmistress had a shark costume for his annual recital then....
