Cambodia # 11

From Ta Prohm, we head on over to the Terrace of the Elephants. While there isn't anything huge or grand, one thing that would strike you is that if one were to look at the below picture, you would realised that each stone is carved and put in place. Imagine the work needed to do this and the precisement needed. Jigsaw puzzle, 3D stone block style!

I am told that everytime there is a new king, one has to read the below declaration which is something still in practice to this date and time. Cool!

This is the temple of the Snake Lady(?) Yours truly was more interested in anything / everything else except the story / reason. So forgive me. Story goes that the king would visit this lady every night and keep her here, enclosed...
For those that want to climb, you're in luck! But yours truly unfortunately had no time to climb...
